It is definitely not hard to find nursing jobs- check any hospital's website, and you will find lots of openings for RN's.
Hi everyone
I am new to the site and am thinking about going into nursing. I haven't completely made up my mind yet. Of course I have all the going back to school concerns later in life thing, will I be able to find a good job after school. With the ecomony the way it is I am also concerned about not working for the time I would be in school and again being able to find a near by job would be super important. How did everyone here find their job? What is a good souce to find jobs around the country? Thanks in advance for all your input and I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Welcome to the site, Dillon! When I did the LPN program nearby (YEARS ago), I didn't work....I wanted to focus on school. However, when I went on for my RN-BSN, I needed to work. You know...I had gotten married, had a house, gas, etc. If you do have to work, make sure that the job does NOT interfere with school, studying, etc.
As for jobs....Amanda is quite right! Jobs are there.
