Good morning everyone! What's everyone up to this Saturday??? I'm going to try to hit the pool this afternoon, otherwise just hanging out & relaxing before I start my new assignment on Monday.

So, swimming, eh? Not sure how the weather is going over here, so.....that dictates what is going on today.

Felt semi-normal yesterday, so went to the local Moose Lodge and hung out, while husband helped with the Friday Night dinner. At least I could smell the food.......

The poorboys were driving me nuts, and the 'burgers, too. I could live without the fried fish; we have baked stuff, too........ *Sigh*

Not just the moose- I'm from WI, remember? We PERFECTED the Friday Fish Fry!

Actually, I think you-all WI folks got the fish fry down-wind from MN......

You know, it's funny, because all when I was growing up, I was brought to Friday Fish Fry's at the Eagles Club or the VFW, but I HATE fish! My family would always get fish, and I would get chicken strips.... But my husband loves it- we always have to go out for Friday Fish whenever we're back in WI- except now he gets fish, and I get fillet mignon!

Fish is better for your heart...think of the cholesterol in meat. I like baked cod. And the Norwegians in MN know their fish. FIL does a decent imitation.....

I'm thinking the fish at a fish fry isn't too great for you- nothing is too good for you when it's beer-battered & deep-fried.

Who said we just had fried fish? Oh sure, we got fried fish, shrimp.... the poor boys and MooseBurgers and such. There's also baked fish, too.

And HOT DANG! The lawn is DONE!
