    Another newbie here

I'm Tazzi. I'm not a traveler but I was assured by another poster that one does not need to be a traveler to be here. I'm Tazzi, from the central coast section of California. I just left ER nursing after 19 years and am about to embark on a new career path in home health. I have three children 19, 17, and 3. I have a wacky sense of humor that non-medicos consider downright sick sometimes, but what nurse doesn't?
A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. If she is menstruating, or menopausal: she is attracted to a man with scissors lodged in his temple and a bat jammed up his patootie while he is on fire. Further studies are expected.

Hi y'all!! I'm new to this, couldn't figure out how to post, hope I'm doing it right. I have been an L&D nurse for 10 yrs, working in Dallas,TX. Wanted to let y'all know about a situation here in the Dallas area. Three of my friends work in ICU @ the same hospital, were terminated because they each refused to accept 3 ICU patients. They explained that they did not feel the assignment was safe for the patients, or the nurse, but were told that if they refused, they were to clock out and go home. Officially terminated 3 days later.

    Newbie...foreigner

Hi All, Although I think nurses all have a 'kinship', I am submitting from South Africa, hence the title! I am a real vet, having been a nurse for 36 years and still love my job. Networking keeps me sane knowing we share similar highs and lows.
