BEWARE RN Network

I took an assignment 2,000 miles from home. I was badgered about turning in paperwork, but the agency would not give me a housing address until one week prior to my start date.

The hospital decided they didn't like me and canceled my contract after two weeks (and only one shift off orientation). On Friday afternoon, I was told I had 48 hours to vacate the housing.

They never asked about my side of the story or even attempted to go to bat for me. I was told if I wanted them to place me in another hospital, I would have to write a letter stating why I was worthy of further placement, to go before a "review board."

Then they refused to pay me any travel money. They had held up my travel reimbursement for some paperwork, then once the contract was canceled, said, "We don't owe it to you anyway, since you didn't complete the contract." I had to throw out over $100 worth of groceries that couldn't travel, let alone all the other expenses I incurred just getting settled.

They also engage in bait-and-switch. The $30 assignment they tell you about when you first call is $24 when you've submitted the paperwork. Their creative accounting meant that I netted less than $700 for two weeks' work, and NO travel reimbursement.

They clearly don't care at all about the welfare of their nurses, just the hospitals who are paying them.

STAY AWAY.
