I want to be a Nurse

    Hi
I just started College and I am taking all my pre requisites first. I have to say I've been out of school for 15 years, and I went to German High school. I am taking my English classes online and I was wondering if anybody has taken BIO 101 online?
    Thank you

Hi, I haven't taken any courses on line, but I myself am currently in a nursing program, but was out of school for a long while prior to going back. Sciences are going to be one of your most important aspects of nursing. They allow you to put all of the systems and the body together as a whole. I would suggest taking all of your science courses in the class to get the most out of the course. When you get into the program you need to know your information inside and out, so it will be extreamly important for you. Again, your best option is to take all your science courses in the classroom.

    Just a thought.

Bio 101 is very much introductory, well at least it is for me, and I'm finishing it up this term. There's a lot of material, but none of it is really that complex. It's good practice for rote memorization, which will come later in Anatomy

You always miss out on something when you take an online course, as there is more to a class than just textbook and lecture. But if your class size would be 180... well then you aren't missing out on much by taking it online

It supposedly only gets harder from here on out, so enjoy the online classes while you can!
