In God's eternal home
Above the clouds and stars
A banquet sits prepared
Among crystal guitars

And every now and then
An Angel starts to play
A tune so heavenly
All Heaven starts to pray

For in your student role
A gift you share on earth
One Angels all admire,
One priceless in its worth

This gift is heavenly
A joy to celebrate
A treasure in your heart
A quality innate

Compassion is a skill
Instilled inside of thee
The Angels know this truth
And joyfully agree

No greater gift is born
To grace the human heart
To fill a student nurse
To set your life apart

For in the scope of care
An Angel you will be
You'll go from room to room
The sick you'll oversee

And with your precious skill
A healing will take place
To those under your care
A touch of Heaven's grace

So high above this earth
A banquet in your name
A tribute to your role
And songs that all proclaim;

"A student nurse below
Is Heaven's pride above
An 'Angel in Training'
To carry-on God's love."
