Name's Aubra, 24 year old guy from Alabama, and after a year of arguing with my wife, have decided that after she finishes her master's degree, I will be attending school to gain my ASN degree. She was an LPN who for years tried to talk me out of it, but I belive I would make a good contribution.
The only thing I worry about now is getting the finances in order to pay for all of this, and hopefully not have to deal with most of the problems I have heard that male nurses come across. Any other male nursing students out there? I appologize for rambling, but its 12a and I think I need some rest. Looking forward to meeting you all!

We need more men in this field. Check out financial aid, there are some options that can help with living expenses while you are in school and some loans are forgivable.
