Patrolman, a Nurse, and a Speeding Ticket

A motorcycle cop was rushed to the hospital with an acute appendix. The ER Docs immediately called in a GI Surgeon. An appendectomy was performed without any complications. However, the patrolman had a lot of localized post-op pain around his chest. Worried & confused, he finally got enough energy to pull his gown enough to look at what was causing so much discomfort.

Three wide strips of adhesive tape were fimly affixed across his hairy chest, which read in large black letters; "Get well soon, yet think twice before you give a nurse a speeding ticket."

Actually, I have all the respect in the world for police officers. Nevertheless, since I've been known to exceed the posted speed limit a time or two I thought I'd share the above humor.
