    Nursing Survey for my College Algebra class

    Hi! I am a freshman in the BSN Nursing program at Northwest Ms Community College. In my college algebra class we have to survey 10 people within the field we are majoring in. Seeing as I do not know any nurses personally I was hoping some of you on this website could help me out!!!! PLEASE!!!!! It is only 10 questions, very easy to answer. Thanks!

The students are attempting to answer the question: “Will I ever use algebra in the ‘real world’?” Thank you for taking time to participate in this important survey.



    Questions:



    1. Indicate the highest level math course you took at the college level:



    Basic Math
    Intermediate Algebra
    College Algebra
    Calculus or higher


    2. Indicate the highest level degree you obtained:



    No diploma earned on the college level
    Associate Degree
    Bachelor’s Degree
    Master’s Degree
    Doctorate


    3. Indicate a salary scale for someone in your current job:

    Like it or not, we all use Mathematics on the job as a nurse. I you don't have a handle on the basics, medication errors alone can plague you your entire practice.
