Why go to Saudi? The pay is not that great even with the tax offset. Travel nursing within the US is great.

I have heard that you can make a lot of money there. I don't have much of a pension, and I am looking for ways to beef it up. Don't know how safe it is in that part of the world these days. I have heard women cannot go any place without a male escort. Have you been there to work?

Where did you work (city) and when? I am considering King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. If going, I would like to go by May and it would be for at least a year (extend if all is going well). For me, money is always good, but the hospital and what it offered appealed to me (I talked to the recruiters at a career fair).

Any pros or cons you have to offer about living and working there? Any advice?
