Hi there,
I've added a link I scanned to an image of the reflex arc which could be an example of a homeostatic grid, or concept map which I assume are both the same.
As a starting point you could begin with a feedback loop -
1.Receptors (input) 2.Control centre (output) 3.Effectors (response) which then comes back to the receptos.
*Notes: Controlled condition = (input)
You could use, for body functions regulation of body temperature. Thermoreceptors responding to changes in temp, and responses which occur - vasodilation, vasoconstriction, shivering etc.
Also positive feedback in the process of clotting.
1. Break in blood vessel wall causes bleeding --> 2. Damaged cells release chemicals --> 3. Clotting begins
(clotting accelerates)
-positive feedback loop)
--> 4. Additional chemicals released 5. Blood clot plugs break in vessel wall; bleeding stops.
